Stop guessing
Living with the suspicion is often worse than knowing. People tell us they have spent months, sometimes years, turning the same questions over. An investigation ends that, one way or the other. Sometimes we confirm what a client suspected. Sometimes we establish there is nothing going on, and that is just as valuable an answer.
A private investigator can follow your partner and capture video or photographic evidence of exactly what they are doing and, more importantly, who they are with.
Signs people notice before they call
If more than two of these are true, it is worth a conversation:
- Suspicious phone habits. The phone never leaves their side, goes to the bathroom with them, sits face down, and has a PIN that is new. Messages and call history are routinely cleared.
- A change in appearance. New style of dress, new underwear, more attention to grooming, a sudden gym membership.
- Changed intimacy. Emotional distance and less affection, or a marked increase, sometimes with behaviours learned elsewhere.
- Routine changes. Leaving earlier, working late, new conferences and functions they want to attend alone, showering the moment they walk in the door.
- Secretive internet use. Cleared browser history, long stretches on the computer after you have gone to bed, new email accounts.
- Communication excuses. The phone died, there was no reception, they simply did not answer.
- Aggression when asked. Raised in conversation, the response is anger, or an accusation that you are the one cheating.
- Unexplained money. Payments you cannot account for, receipts in a wallet, high mileage for a short commute.
What happens next
Call the office and describe the situation. The conversation is confidential and there is no obligation. We will tell you what surveillance can realistically establish, what it is likely to cost, and how quickly we can start.
Once you have the evidence you are in a far stronger position, whether that means confronting your partner, instructing a solicitor, or simply drawing a line and moving on with certainty instead of doubt.
What this cannot do
We cannot access your partner’s phone, email or social accounts, and any firm offering to is either lying or proposing to commit an offence on your behalf. Evidence obtained that way is also worthless in a family law matter.
We also cannot promise you an answer you will like. Some of these jobs confirm what the client feared. Some establish there was nothing going on at all. We report what we observed either way.
