Acceptance
By accessing this site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
What this website is
This website describes the services offered by Sydney Private Investigations, a licensed private investigation firm holding NSW Master Licence 412080174.
Nothing on this site is an offer capable of acceptance, and submitting an enquiry does not create a client relationship. We accept instructions only after we have discussed your matter with you and agreed the scope and the fee.
This site is not legal advice
The content of this website is intended for general information purposes only. We do not provide legal advice and nothing on this website constitutes legal advice. You should seek your own legal advice before acting on anything you read here.
No responsibility is taken for any loss as a result of any action taken, or refrained from, in consequence of the contents of this site.
Lawful purposes only
We accept instructions only for lawful purposes. Surveillance, locating a person, and the use of any investigative technique are all subject to Australian law, including the Surveillance Devices Act 2007 (NSW) and the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
We will decline any instruction where the purpose appears to be unlawful, including instructions that appear intended to facilitate stalking, intimidation, harassment or a breach of court orders. We may discontinue a matter at any point if that becomes apparent, and we may report conduct where the law requires it.
Use of the site
You agree to use the site only for lawful purposes, and not to:
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site or any related systems.
- Use any automated means to harvest data or submit forms.
- Post or transmit any unlawful, threatening, defamatory or otherwise objectionable material.
Intellectual property
All content on this site is owned by Sydney Private Investigations unless otherwise indicated. You may view and download it for personal, non-commercial use only.
No warranty on outcomes
We provide our services with reasonable care and skill. We do not warrant any particular outcome. An investigation may establish what you suspected, may establish the opposite, or may be inconclusive, and all three are possible results of a properly conducted job.
The site itself is provided as is, without warranty of any kind.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sydney Private Investigations is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of this site.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
Updates
